I just love our regular get togethers. Come on in, I have the tea brewing today. I hope you like organic herbal tea. I’ve been reacquainting myself with my love of herbs through a recent online summit. Today we have ashwagandha tea. It’s an adaptogen that will help us thrive if we treat her with respect.
As the steam rolls gently off the tea cups we sit down for another conversation….
I’m really excited this week. On Sunday I have a presentation at the Holistic Fair in Loveland, Colorado. I’ve entitled it “The Power of One is.”
You see several years ago I was involved in an activist movement that stopped in situ leach mining for uranium from occurring in my backyard and all around Mustang Hollow near Nunn. In fact we had legislation passed that holds the u miners accountable enough that it will be very difficult for them to ever do in situ leach mining within the state of Colorado.
Actually, truth be known, my ex-husband and I were really the leaders in that movement. Even saying that aloud feels a little egoic but it is the truth. We weren’t looking to be leaders but it sure fell into our laps.
I guess that is how the Universe shows up for people. When you have the skills and the desire, the Universe just puts situations in front of you so that you have to step into it.
In my case, I had a lot of unresolved trauma to work through and the act of stepping out against a large dominating force in the form of uranium miners was part of my personal healing. I could not run. Oh, I wanted to run. I really wanted to run. I just couldn’t see a safe place to run to.
So, I stood my ground and said ‘No.’ Yes, that is where the healing came from. I recognized and stepped into my power to say no. At first I wasn’t sure if I had that power. In fact, I was sure that I did not. I was so sure that I just had to be a victim to the ‘powers that be’ that I initially felt like I would have to say ‘Yes’ to their perceived right to contaminate my water and the land that I was living upon.
Thankfully, I had some really great friends show up. They shook me out of my complacence by pointing out how horrific uranium mining is to the environment. Once that realization dropped in, I felt so backed into a corner that I had to fight.
One thing of for sure, never back a warrior of any species into a corner. They will fight with everything they have. And I did.
What I did was say ‘No’ to domination and ‘Yes’ to personal power. With this, the Universe responded to my alignment with the greater good for LIFE. I was acting from a place that I had the right to stick up for the water, the land and the lives that depended upon clean water and air. I was standing in a truth that was greater than my own personal truth. I was standing in natural law. The law that water is life and we need to respect it.
When I did that I was amazed at how people and situations began showing up. I won’t go into the whole story here because I’ve written a book about the whole journey. If you want all of the fun and adventure it’s in ‘Uranium Warrior’. You can find it on balboapress.com and other book sellers.
When I finished writing the story, I really realized how important the power of one is. We all have power. We have power to influence. We do. Too often we forget this power and fall into victimhood to whatever it is that is seeking to control us.
Something we are witnessing to date, for sure, when it comes to the medical industrial complex. I guess I never thought I’d be mandated to do things that offend my own sovereignty of body just to purchase things, or to work, or to attend events, or to travel.
Our power of one is. Yes the power of one to say ‘No’ really is. Yes the power of one to say ‘Yes’ really is. So feel free to exercise your power. Say Yes, or Say No. Just do it from the place of personal power rather than through coercion by fear or bribery or shaming. That is the power of one. I see you and honor your right to say yes or to say no.
As we consider the power that we truly have through our thoughts, words and actions, it can be quite humbling indeed. We are constantly putting out thought bombs. Thought bombs that do impact the subtle environment and can morph into the material over time if given enough energy. Ewwwww…. Really?!? Yep. Really. “With great power comes great responsibility.” True words indeed.
Speaking of words…Or in this case writing with words…it is to our enhancement that we can also recognize that we have great power through our words. There are entire religious movements built upon words and their power. One of the ways that the power of words really dropped into me was to follow Masaru Emoto’s work. This man took the time to document how much impact our words and just our thoughts have on water. If you haven’t yet, just do a search on his name to learn about his work. Enlightening indeed.
The power of one to pray into a body of polluted water and then to see the change in the crystalline structures from said body of water is but one way to really see how the power of one is. We are powerful. Each and every one of us is.
We impact the morphogenic field with our thoughts, our words and our actions. One person at a time. One leaf at a time. One breath at a time. One water molecule at a time.
I might just be the 100th monkey. The one that finally shifts the consciousness with my thoughts, words and actions. Wow! Now that is a powerful position in which to be. 99 monkeys have been using a tool, I am the 100th monkey to pick it up, and use it. Consciousness then shifts so that monkeys all across the world are picking up this very same tool and using it for the greater good of all monkeys.
The power of one is.
Well, I guess that’s all for now. Come join me at the Holistic Fair this weekend won’t you? I’ll be doing Intuitive readings at my booth all weekend. And, of course, I’ll be speaking on Sunday at noon. Oh yeah, I’ll have books for purchase there too. Yes, I’ll sign it for you.
Hey, thanks for sitting a spell. See you next week.
.
This reminds me a little of what a friend of mine did here in the UK to stop fracking in her area. She did amazingly well. Sadly as people panic over energy bills the UK govt are once again looking into it. We absolutely have more power than we believe ourselves to have, you’re right.
Good luck with your fair this weekend x
This is soooooo awesome. You’re a strong woman. Yes a strong woman. Proud of you!!!!!!!
